Smart Cities and Urban Innovation – This course introduces students to the concept of smart cities, exploring their history, purpose, and potential. Students will learn how cities have evolved, what defines a smart city, and how urban environments respond to social, economic, and environmental challenges. The course examines strategies for starting from the ground up, developing a comprehensive smart city plan, and enabling that strategy through governance and collaboration.
